The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IBM z/OS environments, and other subsystems. along with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and modernization strategies.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and secure mainframe solutions. - Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and governance for mainframe systems. - Drive mainframe modernization initiatives including re-platforming, re-hosting, and API enablement. - Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning. - Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support teams. - Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.Required Skills:- 20+ years of experience in mainframe technologies, in-depth knowledge of z/OS. - Proven experience in mainframe architecture and modernization strategies. - Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and middleware. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with tools like IBM z/OS Connect, Micro Focus, or OpenText for modernization. - Experience with multiple clients (shared services) and T&T is highly valued.
