Faculty Position in Indian Medical Sciences
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor/Associate Professor to join our Faculty of Indian Medical Sciences at SGT University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Responsibilities:- Conduct innovative research in Indian Medical Sciences, securing external funding, publishing in reputable journals, and presenting research findings at conferences and seminars.
- Deliver engaging and effective undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Indian Medical Sciences, developing course materials, syllabus, and assessments, and providing timely feedback to students.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students in their research projects, providing academic and career guidance.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the department's curriculum, staying current with advancements in the field and incorporating relevant topics and methodologies into courses.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees and meetings, contributing to the academic community through involvement in professional organizations and outreach activities.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaborations within the department and across other relevant disciplines & Industries, seeking opportunities for collaborative research, both within the institution and externally.
- Ph.D. candidates with academic experience and a good research track record, preferably with international exposure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying up-to-date with recent advancements in Allied research and teaching methodologies.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, with 08-10 research publications in reputed journals as per UGC norms.
