Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new clients in the jewellery and luxury sectors.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to grow their brands.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business growth.
- Develop strategies to target high-profile clients, boutiques, and luxury brands that align with Zuzh's service offerings.
Product & Service Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and creative teams to enhance service offerings and develop new packages, such as social media management, PPC, and customised photoshoots.
- Contribute to service pricing strategies that reflect value and market demand, such as our AUD price charts.
Brand Promotion & Networking:
- Represent Zuzh.in at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote our services and build a robust network.
- Engage with influencers and strategic partners to strengthen Zuzh’s brand visibility.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the business development team, setting performance goals and guiding their professional growth.
- Hire and train 1 Business Development Executive (BDE) and 2 interns to support the business development activities.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to refine client pitches, onboarding checklists, and sales approaches.
Sales Targets & Performance Management:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by securing new clients and retaining existing accounts.
- Provide regular performance updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and challenges.
Desired Qualifications & Core Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is required; an MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within the jewellery, luxury goods, or e-commerce sectors.
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Manager, with a track record of managing successful teams.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, sales strategies, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with high-stakes sales environments and a demonstrated ability to drive results.
