Let's Talk About The Role
We're seeking a versatile and dynamic writer to join our fast-moving team. In this role, you'll create compelling content for multiple audiences- everything from long-form whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership articles to snappy social media posts, email campaigns, and ad copy. You'll bring a journalist's curiosity to research, an editor's precision to every piece, and a marketer's instinct for what drives engagement. Your writing will embody our brand's voice while delivering clarity and impact across all channels. This isn't just about writing- you'll own projects from concept to publication and help shape our content strategy in a rapidly evolving industry.

You're a natural storyteller with a strategic mindset and empathetic voice, able to seamlessly shift between writing a 3,000-word thought leadership piece for C-suite executives and a 280-character social post that resonates with our audience. You have a journalist's eye for compelling narratives, an editor's attention to detail, and a deep understanding of what moves B2B enterprise buyers through complex decision-making processes. You thrive in startup environments where priorities shift quickly, resources are lean, and every piece of content needs to work harder to drive both emotional connection and business results.
Requirements
Here's what you'll bring to the role:
Education & Core Experience
- Master's degree in Journalism from an accredited institution
- 4-8 of professional writing and editing experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, corporate communications, or related fields
Writing & Content Skills
- Proven ability to write strategic thought leadership content and B2B enterprise narratives that influence C-suite decision-makers
- Experience with both long-form content (whitepapers, case studies, research articles, executive briefings) and short-form copy (social media, ad headlines, email campaigns)
- Ability to adapt writing style between strategic business analysis and empathetic human-centric storytelling
- Experience translating complex healthcare, life sciences and AI concepts into accessible, engaging language for diverse audiences
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and editing skills with knowledge of AP style and business publication standards
Startup & Project Management Skills
- Comfort working independently and owning multiple active projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Experience writing on behalf of leadership teams, including executive messaging, presentations, and strategic communications
- Ability to pivot quickly based on market feedback, growth experiments, or changing business priorities
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with willingness to identify content gaps and propose strategic solutions
- Strong collaboration skills for working directly with founders, creative team, and external partners
Technical & Digital Proficiency
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools
- Understanding of content performance metrics and ability to use data to inform future content decisions
- Experience coordinating with freelancers, agencies, or external subject matter experts
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership content that has influenced industry conversations or executive decision-making
- Experience with B2B enterprise copywriting, including sales enablement materials and executive communications
- Track record of creating human-centric product marketing content that balances technical accuracy with emotional resonance
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and content marketing strategies for complex B2B sales processes
- Basic understanding of design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences and/or AI industries is a plus
