Job Description:
Role: Technical Lead
Years of Experience: 8 to 10 Years
Location: Chennai
Technical skills: Java/J2ee (JSP, JDBC), Springboot, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, EJBs, XML, ANT, knowledge on configuration related activities Maven, Jenkins, version control tools like SVN/GIT
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
· Architect scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
· Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.
· Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
· Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
· Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of backend systems.
· Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our development processes and solutions.
Technical Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Java backend developer, with at least 6 years of experience in Spring Boot development.
· Strong expertise in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
· Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and related technologies (e.g., Spring Data, Spring Security).
· Write effective APIs. Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
· Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB, NoSQL, Cassandra) and proficiency in SQL.
· Experience working in PHP to Java Springboot migration project will be an added advantage.
· Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
