Java Lead with over 12 years of hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot framework, and either Angular or React for frontend development. As a Java Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, architecting robust solutions, and driving the successful delivery of Java-based projects.


Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead the technical direction and decision-making process for Java-based projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.


Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to drive collaboration and professional growth.


Architecture and Design: Design scalable and maintainable software architectures using Java and Spring Boot, incorporating best practices and design patterns to ensure code quality and reusability.


Frontend Development: Oversee frontend development using Angular or React, collaborating with designers and frontend developers to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.


Backend Development: Lead backend development efforts, implementing RESTful APIs, database integration, and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.


Quality Assurance: Implement automated testing strategies and continuous integration pipelines to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of Java-based applications.


Project Management: Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, coordinating with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.


Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and demonstrate project progress, fostering strong relationships and customer satisfaction.


Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.


Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovation initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance team productivity and product quality.


Documentation and Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design documents, and release notes, and provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.


Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members, promoting a culture of learning and skill enhancement to maintain a high level of expertise and performance.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in Java development, with expertise in Spring Boot, Angular or React.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, make sound decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing requirements.
