This leadership role will focus on scalability, security, cloud optimization, and AI-driven innovation while mentoring teams and enhancing development efficiency. The role also requires collaborating with REA Group leaders to align with the global architectural strategy. Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership Maintain Architectural Decision Records (ADR) to document key technical choices and their rationale Define and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures across Housing and Prop Tiger Align technical decisions with business goals, leveraging microservices, distributed systems, and API-first design Cloud & Dev Ops Excellence Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for cost, performance, and scalability Improve SEO performance by optimizing website architecture, performance, and indexing strategies Enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) to accelerate delivery Security & Compliance Establish and enforce security best practices for data protection, identity management, and compliance Strengthen security posture through proactive risk mitigation and governance Data & AI Strategy Architect data pipelines and AI-driven solutions to enable automation and data-driven decision-making Lead Generative AI initiatives to enhance product development and user experiences Incident Management & Operational Excellence Establish best practices for incident management, ensuring system reliability, rapid recovery, and root cause analysis Drive site reliability engineering (SRE) principles to improve uptime, observability, and performance monitoring Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning Collaborate with product and business leaders to align technology roadmaps with strategic objectives What We're Looking For 12+ years in software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and large-scale system design Expertise in microservices, API design, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization Strong background in security best practices and governance Experience in Data Architecture, AI/ML pipelines, and Gen AI applications Proven leadership in mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills Why Join Us?
