That's why we're looking for a skilled Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and engage potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first point of contact with prospects, the ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of the sales process and excel at lead research, relationship-building, and driving sales closures. We seek a quick learner with strong communication skills and the ability to present our offerings persuasively. Every potential customer represents an opportunity to enhance revenue growth, customer acquisition, and overall profitability.

Position : Sales Executive/ Senior Sales Executive
Experience : 1 to 6 Years
Qualification : BE Mechanical / Chemical / Civil / Electrical / Instrumentation
Objectives of this role
- Represent the company's engineering products and services by leveraging in-depth knowledge and consumer insights to demonstrate how our solutions align with customer needs.
- Identify and cultivate leads by engaging warm prospects and uncovering new sales opportunities.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential customers and coordinate with sales executives for the next steps.
- Continuously refine and improve the company's lead-generation strategies.
- As this is a customer-facing role, a willingness to travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Proactively explore new business opportunities in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and process industries.
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email outreach to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analyse customer needs and industry trends.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand the company's network.
- Engage with clients to understand their software requirements, provide technical guidance, and highlight key product features.
- Assess prospect needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Develop and deliver impactful presentations to prospective customers.
- Foster long-term relationships with prospects to qualify leads for sales.
- Schedule meetings with potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and service agreements.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Prepare and submit detailed sales reports.
- Maintain and update the customer database.
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results to the regional sales manager.
Required skills and qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both via phone and email.
- Lateral hires should have a proven track record of surpassing lead generation targets.
- Strong analytical abilities and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- A keen desire and capability to grow within a sales organization.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the software or technology sector, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and sales strategies effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
