1. Responsibilities:

1.

Operational Management:

·

Manage and supervise a team of utility technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.

·

Oversee preventative maintenance schedules for all utility systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs.

·

Monitor utility consumption and identify areas for optimization to reduce costs and improve energy efficiency.

·

Respond promptly to utility system malfunctions and emergencies, coordinating repairs and minimizing downtime.

·

Implement and maintain a comprehensive system for tracking utility usage, repairs, and maintenance activities.

2.

Equipment Maintenance:

·

Properly operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor scrubbers, and power washers.

·

Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, reporting any damage or malfunctions.

·

Stock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.

3.

Emergency Response:

·

Respond to minor emergency situations such as small leaks, power outages, or minor property damage, notifying appropriate personnel for major issues.

·

Assist in emergency clean-up procedures as needed.

4.

Engineering Management:

- Overseeing and coordinating engineering activities, such as design, analysis, and testing.- Collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.- Evaluating and implementing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance engineering processes and efficiency.- Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Maintenance Management:

- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment, machinery, and facilities.- Establishing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.- Managing maintenance budgets, resources, and contractors effectively.- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for maintenance personnel.

Team Leadership:

- Building and leading a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and maintenance staff.- Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to foster their professional growth.- Conducting performance evaluations and identifying opportunities for skills development and training.

7.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborating with other departments, such as operations, procurement, and finance, to align project and maintenance activities with broader organizational goals.- Participating in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide technical insights and support decision-making.

8.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

- Developing and managing budgets for projects, engineering initiatives, and maintenance activities.- Allocating resources efficiently to ensure the successful completion of projects and maintenance tasks.

9.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensuring that all engineering projects and maintenance activities meet quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and codes.

10.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations related to utility operations.

·

Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff and maintain safety records.

·

Monitor and address potential hazards within the facility's utility systems.

·

Implement and enforce proper work procedures and safety protocols.

11.

Audits:

·

Must have exposure to GMP, WHO, Local FDA, ISO and USFDA Audits procedures, guidelines and maintain a harmonies and robust documentation system in the organization.

Education:

·

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with AutoCAD Drawing exposures.

·

At least 20 to 25 years of experience in Utilities & Engineering projects in API manufacturing, with a proven track record.

·

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

·

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.

·

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

·

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

·

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.

Conversant with MM/PM SAP module
