The HR Admin cum Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, statutory compliance, and general administrative functions. This role requires a balance of human resource management and administrative support to ensure smooth organizational functioning.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (Generalist)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment (job posting, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding).
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personal files.
  • Handle induction, joining formalities, and exit processes.
  • Support the design and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Assist with payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, performance reviews, and grievance redressal.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related concerns.

Administration

  • Oversee office administration, housekeeping, and facility management.
  • Manage procurement of office supplies, vendor relationships, and AMC contracts.
  • Maintain administrative records, agreements, and contracts.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, office events, and logistics.
  • Ensure workplace health & safety compliance and smooth day-to-day functioning.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and Indian labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRMS tools.
  • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors / Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in HR Generalist and Admin functions.
  • Prior experience in IT, Manufacturing, or Services sector preferred.

  • Accuracy in payroll and attendance management.
