Job PurposeThe Area Manager - Sales will plan and implement strategies to achieve budgeted volumes in the motorcycle business which includes motorcycle’s booking target (dealership), market share and Penetration of Make it Yourself (MIY) sales. The incumbent will ensure that budgeted volumes/revenues are achieved in Genuine Motor Accessories’ revenue, Apparel revenue. He/ she will strive to improve operational efficiency of the business by identifying areas of process improvements.

Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve motorcycle sales targets & revenue as per Strategic Business PlanPlan and achieve the organizational goals in terms of volumes, market share, profitability and overall growth of the organization by expansion of touchpointsManage dealerships in the specified territory and Review the Sales process at dealershipsMonitor Customer Satisfaction Scores on Sales by tracking In-Moment Scores, Google Ratings, Complaint per 100 retails, etc.Ensure adherence to the monthly plan of Network Expansion (both main dealerships/ Studio outlets)Visit dealerships/ Market as per Fixed Journey Cycle and review business parametersMonitor Dealer Financials and ensure availability of Working Capital and dealer profitabilityInfra audit compliance by dealers in the regionEnsure top three position in dealer satisfaction surveys across two wheeler industryEnsure retail finance penetration as per targetsEnsure the dealership has quality trained sales manpower as required.Ensure that the dealership infrastructure is as per latest Corporate Identity Process norms and are compliant to all RE norms / PoliciesAttending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtainedEnsure appropriate MIS reportingRides & Customer meets to be organized as per targetPlan and implement sales promotional activities in coordination with Marketing teamShowcase consistent Customer satisfaction index & Sales Satisfaction indexMaintaining relationship with business partners – Dealers (dealer profit enhancement), Banks & Financial institutionsEnsure adherence to policies, statutory norms and compliances

Work ExperienceEducationBachelors in Engineering / Technology (Mechanical)MBA

Experience4+ years relevant experience in a similar role in sales or business development capacity
