Overview :

The AWS DevOps role plays a critical part in our organization, as it involves ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our cloud-based infrastructure.

This position is essential for maintaining seamless delivery and deployment processes for our applications and services, ultimately supporting our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure architectures.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.

- Write scripts for automation of manual tasks.

- Manage and monitor infrastructure utilizing AWS services.

- Implement and manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.

- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Implement and manage security and compliance measures.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization.

- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

- Stay updated with new AWS features and best practices.

- Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are in place.

- Document infrastructure and processes.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

- Strong understanding of AWS services and best practices.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus.

- Knowledge of networking and security concepts in AWS.

- Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Relevant AWS certifications (e. g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.

- Understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
