The Academic Associate plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting the academic delivery and operations at TETR. The Associate will work closely with faculty,

assist in the development of course materials, and provide academic support to students.


Additionally, the Academic Associate will assist in organizing outclass activities and ensure smooth functioning of all academic processes.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Course Management & faculty interaction:

● Assist in the preparation and organization of course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, exams, and other teaching aids.

● Conduct review sessions, lead discussion groups, and facilitate lab or tutorial sessions as needed.

● Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.

● Develop supplementary learning resources to support students’ understanding of complex topics.


Assignments, Examinations and Grading:

● Ensure assignments are timely communicated on LMS

● Coordinate exam logistics and invigilation

● Assist faculty in grading and evaluation


Student Engagement:

● Serve as a point of contact for student inquiries and provide academic guidance.

● Offer one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to support students in their coursework.

● Monitor student progress and provide feedback to faculty on areas where students may need additional support.

● Coordinate and manage office hours to accommodate student needs.


Course Administration:

● Manage and maintain course records, including attendance, grades, and assignment submissions.

● Assist in the coordination of course-related activities such as guest lectures, workshops, and seminars.

● Support the administration of exams, including proctoring, grading, and providing accommodations as necessary.

● Liaise with faculty and administration to ensure smooth course delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

● Utilize data to inform decision-making and improve academic services

● Ensure the confidentiality and security of academic records.


Faculty Collaboration:

● Collaborate with faculty members to develop and enhance course content, assessments, and learning outcomes.

● Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to discussions on course planning and improvement.

● Provide insights and feedback to faculty on student performance and course effectiveness.


Outclass Activities:

● Participate and support in organizing activities, grading and assessment of assignments as assigned by the Outclass Committee, may include activities on weekends.


Qualifications & Skills:

● A Master’s or Ph.D. (pursuing / completed) in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching or academic support roles, preferably in a higher education setting.

● Proven ability to manage multiple courses and deliver high-quality academic support.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Technological Proficiency: Expertise in utilizing digital tools and platforms to enhance teaching and learning experiences

● A genuine passion for education and student development

● Must be a resident of Dubai and preferably speak Arabic

● Possess a strong local network


Compensation: As per market standard

Employment type: Fixed term contract of 4 months
