Salesforce Developer

Job Description:
Engage in discussions with business stakeholders to evaluate various Salesforce requests
Collaborate with other developers in shared Salesforce environments to develop standard / custom solutions and develop integrations with Carbon’s core business systems, including Oracle Cloud Applications, Quickbase, JIRA, etc, as needed based on business requirements
Troubleshoot and fix bugs in test or production environments as needed
Follow Carbon best practices for software development, data integrity/security, technical documentation, and release management.
Execute unit/regression testing to verify the stability and functionality of the application
Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
Analyze data using Workbench and Salesforce Inspector
Maintain documentation and records of application changes and RCA
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Lightning App Builder and Lightning Component features
Efficient in using Lightning Process Builder, Flow Builder, Chatter and Quick Action
2+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and configurations)
Experience developing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Community Cloud and CPQ
Experience developing B2B Commerce, payment gateways and Product Offerings
Hands on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, SOQL, Lightning, Scheduled and Batch classes, MySQL and JavaScript
Enterprise application integration tool experience like Dell Boomi or Mulesoft
Hands on experience using Salesforce APIs and 3rd-party integration using integration techniques -REST, SOAP APIs, Auth and Single Sign-On
Certifications: Salesforce platform (Platform Developer I+, Platform App Builder)
Strong problem-solving skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
Ability to complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to work independently to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Self-starter, ability to work with minimum supervision
Track record of being proactive in solving issues
Team Player – This role is part of a much larger global team
Demonstrate reliability and integrity
Take pride in work deliverables; attention to detail is a must
