Reporting to Team Lead, associate will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. Associate will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems. In this role, Associate will also promote best practices and internal business processes. Associate will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Associate will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Strong expertise in Java 5+, Spring Framework Lead the design, development of Java-based applications. Collaborate with architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture. Guide and mentor a team of developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices. Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes. Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments. Proficiency in SQL Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and resolve technical roadblocks  Drive the team toward continuous improvement and agile execution Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams QUALIFICATION Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. EXPERIENCE Experience in Java technology Hands-on experience with various AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and cloud monitoring tools.  Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture Overall IT experience of 5+ years SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest and SOAP web services, Database (Oracle/PostgreSQL), PL/SQL Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives. Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required. Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
