Jupicat is a premium-luxury fashion brand at the intersection of art, rebellion, and storytelling. We create bold, unconventional silhouettes featuring stunning, one-of-one artworks—hand-painted, embroidered, and embellished by skilled artisans. As we prepare to launch, we're looking for a Fashion Designer to join our founding team and help shape the future of avant-garde fashion.

Who We're Looking For

A creative powerhouse with strong technical foundations and a deep understanding of contemporary fashion. Someone who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively, plans meticulously, and collaborates seamlessly with artists and makers. We're on the brink of launch after nearly two years of groundwork, and the right candidates will be joining us at an intense and fast-paced phase. This isn't a typical 9-to-5 role—apply only if you're ready for the hustle.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Graduate from a premier fashion institute (e.g. NIFT)
  • Strong command over both written and spoken English
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure startup environments
  • Solid portfolio showcasing unconventional silhouettes, strong pattern-making skills, and original thinking

Key Responsibilities

  • Design original and unconventional silhouettes in line with Jupicat's bold artistic vision
  • Develop patterns, mockups, and toiles
  • Take accurate body and garment measurements
  • Create detailed techpacks for sampling and production
  • Coordinate with the Masterji and ensure alignment of design intent during prototyping
  • Maintain consistent communication and reporting standards as per company guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices in all aspects of design and production
  • Collaborate with the Founder/Creative Director, Illustrators, and other team members for seamless execution
  • Manage timelines, follow-ups, and documentation with high degree of organization and discipline
