Embedded multimedia and GUI development / IoTJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Software development for embedded (system) software products. Individual must have the ability to read and understand system requirements, system test requirements and establish a system design approach based on those requirements aligned with the defined coding standards. The selected candidate must have a background in embedded (system) software development, devices/system interaction and troubleshooting, and will be involved in all aspects of the system software development process (concept, design, validation and production). The selected candidate will interact frequently with teams both locally and at different geographical locations across different time-zones.EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Minimum 8+ years embedded software development experience required as below:Essential Competencies:Strong technical knowledge in relevant area of expertise – Embedded multimedia and graphical user interface development, Python, PyQt, QML, OOPS, RTOS concepts, IoT Hub, inter process communication and multithreaded applications.Working knowledge on multimedia framework like WebRTC or GSTreamerGood in Linux, unit test frameworks and BDDExperience in software development process, including formal documentation for requirements, test procedures and design, as well as experience in performing code inspections and performance optimization on embedded applicationsDesirable Competencies:Working knowledge of MQTT, REST-API’s, RSS Feeds and Azue CloudWorking experience on audio and video codec like mp4, h.264 etc.Embedded working experience on IoT & Cloud connectivityUnderstanding Cyber Security design requirementsAgile methodology and working knowledge of Atlassian/Azure DevOps tools.Knowledge about continuous integration and continuous deploymentOther Competencies:Passionate to learn newer trends and technologies and should be strong in adapting the tools for the sameAble to present technical presentations to development teams as well as to stakeholdersExperience in leading development efforts and representing at global platformsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong analytical, organizational and problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic environmentAbility to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environmentAbility to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessaryGo getter, result-driven, and works independently with minimal supervisionPassionate about building high-quality systems and delivering as per commitments
