Domain Area :  Embedded multimedia and GUI development / IoT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software development for embedded (system) software products. Individual must have the ability to read and understand system requirements, system test requirements and establish a system design approach based on those requirements aligned with the defined coding standards. The selected candidate must have a background in embedded (system) software development, devices/system interaction and troubleshooting, and will be involved in all aspects of the system software development process (concept, design, validation and production). The selected candidate will interact frequently with teams both locally and at different geographical locations across different time-zones.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Minimum 8+ years embedded software development experience required as below:

Essential Competencies: Strong technical knowledge in relevant area of expertise – Embedded multimedia and graphical user interface development, Python, PyQt, QML, OOPS, RTOS concepts, IoT Hub, inter process communication and multithreaded applications. Working knowledge on multimedia framework like WebRTC or GSTreamer Good in Linux, unit test frameworks and BDD Experience in software development process, including formal documentation for requirements, test procedures and design, as well as experience in performing code inspections and performance optimization on embedded applications

Desirable Competencies:

Working knowledge of MQTT, REST-API’s, RSS Feeds and Azue Cloud Working experience on audio and video codec like mp4, h.264 etc. Embedded working experience on IoT & Cloud connectivity Understanding Cyber Security design requirements Agile methodology and working knowledge of Atlassian/Azure DevOps tools. Knowledge about continuous integration and continuous deployment
