Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Operations:


• Maintain customer records, POs, invoices, test certificates, and dispatch documentation.


• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure timely dispatch and

documentation.


• Prepare and follow up on quotations, tender submissions, and rate approvals.


• Liaise with customers, inspectors (e.g., RITES, RDSO), and logistics providers.


• Ensure proper GST documentation and e-way bills as per compliance.

Inventory Management:


• Oversee overall inventory control, stock reconciliation, and consumption tracking.


• Ensure accuracy and timely updates of stock records in coordination with the Store In-

Charge (who will report to this position).


• Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate for physical verification of material.


• Monitor store discipline, layout, and movement of materials to ensure FIFO and reduce

wastage.

Administrative Functions:


• Manage office administration, housekeeping, and routine facility maintenance.


• Coordinate travel, accommodation, and daily logistics for staff and guests.


• Maintain records related to contract labour, gate passes, and canteen operations.


• Support HR team in managing attendance registers, visitor logs, and admin expenses.

Vendor & Transport Coordination:


• Coordinate with transporters for dispatch of heavy equipment and components.


• Follow up with vendors for supply of consumables, PPEs, and office materials.


• Negotiate rates and maintain documentation for vendor agreements.
