Role Description
We are seeking a Chess Instructor for a part-time, hybrid role at Red Chess Academy.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching chess classes to students of varying skill levels.- Tutoring and mentoring students to improve their understanding of chess strategies.- Providing structured training sessions tailored to help students excel in competitions.
This role is based in Coimbatore, with the flexibility to teach remotely as well.
Qualifications
- Must be a FIDE-rated player with strong chess coaching experience.- Proven ability to teach and tutor students effectively.- Experience in creating engaging training sessions for students across skill levels.- Excellent communication skills to interact with students of all ages.- A genuine passion for chess education and mentoring aspiring players.- Previous participation in chess tournaments and coaching is highly preferred.- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
