Job Opportunity: Part-Time Chess Coach

Job Type: Part-time (4 hours)

Work Platform: In-person/Online

Work Location: Coimbatore (In-Person)

We are seeking passionate Chess Coaches with the following qualifications:

Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of chess.2. Fluency in English.3. Valid FIDE rating.4. High-speed internet (20+ Mbps) and a desktop/laptop with a good webcam and noise-cancelling headphones.5. A passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Player Assessment: Evaluate students’ current chess levels, strengths, weaknesses, and playing styles.2. Game Analysis: Review and analyze student games to pinpoint mistakes and missed opportunities.3. Chess puzzles and Exercises: Assign chess puzzles, exercises, and drills to develop problem-solving skills, improve tactical and positional awareness, and enhance calculation abilities.4. Tournament Preparation: Assist students in preparing for chess tournaments by helping them formulate effective game plans and manage their time effectively during games.5. Tailored Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs and learning styles of individual students, whether they are children, adults, beginners, intermediate players, or advanced players.6. Progress Tracking: Maintain records of student progress and adjust training plans accordingly.7. Training Delivery: Provide chess training as per the assigned schedule.8. Business Development: Support the team in expanding the program.

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of prior teaching experience.
