As part of this expansion, we are seeking a talented Content Editor to ensure that our content maintains the highest standards of quality and relevance.


What do we expect from you?

As a Content Editor , you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, editing, and refinement of all content produced by the Novatr team. You’ll work closely with writers, designers, and subject matter experts to ensure that our content is not only accurate and well-written but also engaging and aligned with our brand voice.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining consistency and excellence across all forms of content, whether it’s for our website, social media, emails, or educational materials.


Who are we looking for?

You are/demonstrate:

  • A highly detail-oriented editor with a passion for creating polished and compelling content.
  • Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and style, ensuring that every piece of content is flawless.
  • A collaborative spirit who can work effectively with writers and designers to shape content that resonates with our audience.
  • A deep understanding of content strategy, with the ability to optimize content for SEO and engagement.

You’re good at:

  • Editing and proofreading content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with our brand voice.
  • Managing content calendars, workflows, and deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
  • Providing constructive feedback to writers and helping them improve their craft.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to produce cohesive and impactful content.


Extra Awesome if you are:

  • Experienced in editing content related to the AEC industry, technology, or education.
  • Knowledgeable about SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search engines.
  • Adept at using content management systems and tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Excited about working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.


Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a digital-first or content-heavy role.
  • Proven experience managing a team of writers and overseeing the content creation process.
  • Strong familiarity with different content formats, including blogs, articles, social media posts, and email marketing content.


What is mandatory?

  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and managing multiple content projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for storytelling and content that engages and informs the audience.


What is not mandatory?

  • Prior experience in Ed-Tech or the AEC industry, though it would be a plus.
