The firm leverages advanced analytics, proprietary algorithms, and cutting-edge technology to identify profitable trading opportunities in dynamic markets. Role Overview: As a Commodity Trader – MCX, you will be responsible for executing and managing trades across the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), focusing on both discretionary and algorithmic trading strategies. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of commodity derivatives, futures, and market microstructure. Hands-on experience trading on MCX using platforms such as ODIN, NEST, or API-based systems. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar) for trade analytics and backtesting. Exposure to algorithmic or systematic trading environments preferred. Exceptional analytical, numerical, and decision-making abilities. High attention to detail, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Other Details : Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity trading (MCX) within a trading firm, brokerage, or financial institution. Experience in a quant or systematic trading environment will be a strong plus.
