Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Design Engineer to lead and execute instrumentation engineering activities for EPC and engineering consultancy projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing instrumentation systems, preparing detailed engineering deliverables, and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review Instrumentation Design Basis, I/O list, Instrument Index, Cable Schedules, and Loop Diagrams.

Prepare specifications and datasheets for field instruments, control valves, and packages.

Design and layout instrumentation and control systems (including hook-up drawings, JB schedules, layouts, etc.).

Conduct vendor technical bid evaluations and support procurement activities.

Review vendor documents and coordinate with vendors for technical alignment.

Work closely with other disciplines (Piping, Electrical, Process) to ensure design consistency.

Ensure compliance with international codes and standards

Provide support during construction, commissioning, and FAT/SAT stages.

Lead a team of junior engineers and drafters, providing guidance and quality checks.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Engineering.

8+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation design for EPC or consultancy projects.

Proficiency in tools like SPI (INtools), AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.

Strong understanding of hazardous area classification, loop checking, and control system integration.

Desired Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
