Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, specification, and selection of instrumentation and control systems for upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas projects.
  • Develop P&IDs, instrument index, data sheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and hook-up drawings.
  • Instrument index, I/O lists, loop diagrams

    Instrument datasheets and specifications

    Control system architecture
    ,
    Cable schedules and hookup drawings
  • Perform instrument sizing and selection for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurements.
  • Review and approve vendor documents and technical specifications.
  • Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies.
  • Interface with process, mechanical, electrical, and control system teams.
  • Lead instrumentation discipline in multi-discipline project teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes (API, ISA, IEC, NEC, etc.) and client standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in instrumentation design and engineering within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems (DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G).
  • Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), IN tools, or equivalent.
  • Familiar with international standards (ISA, IEC, API).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
