Senior Executive - SAP IT

Location: Umarsadi, Vapi, Gujarat

Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP MM/PP (Materials Management/Production Planning) Module Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing various SAP processes, enhancements, and user support for the MM/PP module. This role involves a combination of technical, functional, and business process knowledge to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the SAP system.

• Participate actively in SAP enhancement and development projects, ensuring requirements are understood and effectively implemented.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Assist in the planning, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements.
• Lead small-scale SAP change management initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of changes with minimal business disruption.
• Manage change requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Provide user support for SAP MM and PP modules, including troubleshooting, training, and resolving issues.
• Assist end-users in understanding and optimizing SAP functionality related to materials management and production planning processes.
• Ensure that regular data backups are executed for the SAP MM/PP module.
• Administer and maintain SAP data integrity and system performance.
• Manage and monitor SAP jobs related to MM/PP processes, ensuring timely execution and resolution of issues.
• Analyse system performance and implement corrective actions as required.
• Oversee and manage SAP transport processes, ensuring that all necessary objects are moved across systems (development, quality, production) accurately and without error.
• Coordinate with developers and project teams to ensure smooth transport of changes.
• Manage SAP user accounts, ensuring that all user requests are handled efficiently.
• Support the creation, modification, and deletion of user profiles in accordance with organizational policies.
• Administer and manage SAP user roles and authorizations to ensure secure access to the MM/PP module.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and segregation of duties.
• Gain a deep understanding of business processes related to materials management and production planning.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure SAP processes align with and enhance business operations.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification: SAP certification in MM/PP modules(preferred).

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM/PP, SAP administration, and change management.

Competencies:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM/PP modules, including key transactions, master data management, and configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP system administration, data backups, and job scheduling.
• Experience managing changes and understanding the impact of changes on business operations.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to identify issues early and apply analytical thinking to resolve challenges.

Skills:

• Proficiency in local languages and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication with employees and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP system administration, backups, user management, and transports.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to resolve system-related issues quickly and efficiently.
