Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Development

team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, analysis, and

reporting, with specific experience in the renewable energy sector. This role requires a deep

understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply them in the context of renewable

energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

 Financial Modelling & Analysis:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the financial
• performance of renewable energy projects.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and ROI calculations to support
• investment decisions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.

 Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget, providing variance analysis and
• actionable insights.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates and financial
• forecasts.

 Investment Analysis:

• Perform detailed financial due diligence on potential renewable energy
• investments.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and
• stakeholders.
• Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, partnerships, and acquisitions.

 Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior
• management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

 Market Research & Industry Trends:

• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological
• advancements in the renewable energy sector.
• Analyze the impact of market dynamics on financial performance and investment
• strategies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance in line
• with industry trends.

 Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and
• project management.
• Provide financial support and guidance to project managers and business
• development teams.
• Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
• Education Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.

Technical Skills and Experience

Software Proficiency:

• MS Office

Project Management:

• Experience in managing design projects from conception to implementation
• Ability to coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders

Renewable Energy Systems:

• Understanding of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure

Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in Renewable Energy
• Sector. (Consultancy and Analyst experience is highly preferred).
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools (e.g., Excel,
• financial software).
• Knowledge of renewable energy project financing, including PPAs, tax credits, and
• subsidies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, incentives, and market dynamics.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software is preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Project Management experience a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept
• to conclusion.
• Technical understanding of clean energy business processes
• Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and
• other stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and everchanging
• environment.
• Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
