About the RoleWe are excited to recruit for an

early-stage startup

with a bold vision to solve global labor shortages. This client is building a cutting-edge platform that connects talent-rich markets like India with countries facing severe demographic challenges, such as Germany.

The startup is seeking a

Lead Developer (Full-Stack)

who is ready to take ownership of the tech stack, build the platform from scratch, and shape the technological direction of the company. As part of the

core team , this role offers a unique opportunity to be involved at the foundation stage of an innovative venture.

Please note: As a pre-revenue startup, the

compensation for this role is equity-only

until funding or revenue benchmarks are achieved. The startup is open to flexible part-time work initially, transitioning to full-time as the company scales. This is ideal for entrepreneurial candidates who are excited to build something transformative from the ground up.

Responsibilities

•

Tech Leadership :• Oversee the end-to-end development of the platform, ensuring scalability and performance.• Make key technical decisions regarding the stack, tools, and architecture.

•

Full-Stack Development :• Build efficient and user-friendly frontend interfaces using

React

or similar frameworks.• Develop robust and scalable backend systems using

Node.js

or equivalent.

•

Collaboration :• Work closely with the founder and business team to align technical implementation with the product vision.• Communicate progress and challenges effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

•

Scaling & Maintenance :• Ensure the platform can scale to support thousands of users across multiple markets.• Regularly optimize performance and address technical challenges proactively.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions.• Proficiency in

React ,

Node.js , and cloud infrastructure tools like

AWS

or

GCP .• Hands-on experience with databases like

PostgreSQL

or

MongoDB .• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.• Bonus: Experience with marketplace or recruitment platforms is highly desirable.

Compensation

•

Equity-Only : Competitive equity stake within the ESOP pool.• Salary will be introduced once funding is secured or revenue benchmarks are reached.• The startup is open to flexible part-time work initially, transitioning to full-time as the company scales.
