Alteryx is searching for a Performance Engineer to join our growing team. Position Overview: Performance Engineer will join a team of skilled engineers within quality engineering group to assess, test, monitor, support and improve performance throughout Alteryx services and products. Responsibilities: Contribute to a Cloud Platform Performance Testing Strategy and support its implementation. Create, maintain, standardize and enhance performance testing frameworks and tooling. Support domain and project teams in using performance tooling. Scale, Spike and Limit Test Cloud Platform. Monitor and report performance KPIs, Benchmarking and Trend Analysis for Cloud Platform Required Skills: 2+ years of Performance Engineering or SDET experience. MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience with any or all of the following tools: Observability, i.e. Datadog, Grafana. Load Testing: Locust or similar tool. Experience and proficiency with Python. Experience with working on Cloud SaaS & PaaS projects. Experience with GitLab, GitHub or Jenkins pipelines and runners. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with both local and remote team members. Able to learn quickly and be proactive in upskilling Valued Skills: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum driven development environment. Experience working with Docker containers.
