Job OverviewWe are looking for an energetic and reliable Delivery Boy to deliver various types of packages to customers. Prioritizing deliveries in far-off locations, handling payments, and maintaining delivery receipts are some of your responsibilities. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the proper handling of the company vehicle and ensuring it is re-fueled in time. Your other responsibilities include tracking shipments, inventory stock, and preparing daily delivery reports. You should strictly adhere to the road safety guidelines and be vigilant when processing deliveries. Besides, you will be accountable for providing professional assistance to customer complaints/queries and for investigating any discrepancies in the order details. If you are punctual, reliable and can offer high levels of customer satisfaction then we would love to meet you. ResponsibilitiesDelivering different types of packages like apparels, appliances, and food itemsVerifying recipient’s details before handing over the packageUpdating delivery status upon completionAccepting payments and maintaining transaction recordsEnsuring proper handling of the company vehicleAdhering to road safety guidelines and traffic rules at all timesChecking for alternate and shorter routes to avoid heavy trafficExecuting all deliveries within the given time frameLoading and unloading packages carefullyAddressing customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional mannerChecking for any discrepancies or irregularities in the packagesObtaining the recipient’s signature upon deliveryReporting to the supervisor in case of any road accidents or traffic violationsSeeking customer feedback on the service providedPreparing and maintaining logs and reportsEnsuring the safety of products during the delivery processPrioritizing deliveries as per locations and deliverable itemsReviewing and verifying invoices Arranging for return shipments when neededCoordinating with dispatchers and other team membersKeeping track of shipments and inventory stockReporting any suspicious or damaged packages to the supervisor Immediately RequirementsDegree or Diploma in any fieldPrior experience of working as a Delivery Boy in Logistics industryHolding a valid identification card and driver’s licenseKnowledge of traffic rules and road safety guidelinesExcellent time management and communication skillsPhysically fitAbility to work at irregular hours and in extreme weather conditionsFamiliarity with GPS and other navigation technologiesDemonstrating reliability and punctualityVigilantAbility to work independentlyAbility to multitask
