Primary Skill: Facets or EDI skills in 837, 834 transactions

Notice period : Prefer who can join within 2-3 weeks

Summary

The EDI Tester will be responsible for validating healthcare EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 847, and 27X series. The role demands hands-on experience with Facets, SQL, and US healthcare domain knowledge, including claims, enrollment, and benefits.

Required Skills

  • 4-6 years of hands-on testing experience in the QEA Testing and preferably from healthcare domain.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare concepts (claims, enrollment, providers, billing).
  • EDI Transactions (834, 837)
  • Experience with Facets claims processing and BlueCards.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server and Azure AD.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional and regression testing of EDI transactions (834, 837P/I/D, 847, 27X).
  • Validate inbound and outbound EDI files using tools like AE2, EDIFACTS, and Facets.
  • Analyze requirement documents and create test scenarios, test cases, and mock data.
  • Execute batch jobs and validate data flow across systems.
  • Log defects in ALM/JIRA and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
  • Maintain traceability matrices and test evidence repositories.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and clients for delivery and defect triage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Selenium, Appium, and C# automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Safe Agile practices.
  • Exposure to Eclipse IDE and EDI mapping tools.
