Organization: Power Products Division, InT.Hub Job Title: PP InT Digital Architect ****************************************************** Description************************************************************** Location: Bangalore Role Summary As a Digital Architect for LV Switchgear, you will lead the design and implementation of digital solutions that enhance the performance, connectivity, and intelligence of low voltage switchgear systems.You will work at the intersection of electrical engineering and digital innovation, driving the development of smart, connected products and platforms that align with industry standards and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:1.Digital Architecture & Strategy * Define and evolve the digital architecture roadmap for LV switchgear products and systems. * Architect scalable, secure, and interoperable digital platforms for monitoring, control, and predictive maintenance. * Align digital initiatives with IEC standards, smart grid requirements, and Industry 4.0 principles. 2.Solution Design & Integration * Design cloud-connected switchgear solutions using IoT, edge computing, and embedded systems * Collaborate with product engineering, software development, and cybersecurity teams to deliver integrated solutions * Lead the development of digital twins, remote diagnostics, and asset management platforms 3.Technology Leadership * Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, digital twins, and augmented reality into LV switchgear offerings * Define APIs, data models, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, IEC 61850). * Ensure seamless integration with building management systems (BMS), energy management platforms, and SCADA systems 4.Governance & Compliance * Establish digital architecture standards and ensure compliance with electrical safety, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations * Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across global R&D teams What qualifications will make you successful for this role? * Qualifications: + Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field. + 10+ years of experience in electrical product development, with 5+ years in digital architecture roles. + Strong understanding of LV switchgear systems, protection devices, and control architectures. + Experience with IoT platforms, cloud services (Azure, AWS), and edge computing. + Familiarity with electrical standards (IEC 61439, IEC 60947) and digital protocols. + Strong project management and cross-functional leadership Preferred Skills: + Exposure with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, Siemens Sentron, or ABB Ability platforms. + Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. + Passion for innovation and sustainability in electrical systems.
