SAEL | Payroll and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated
Assistant/ Deputy Manager - Payroll and Compliance
to oversee and manage all payroll processes, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and handle attendance management at our solar power plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, compliance, and HR practices within the renewable energy sector or similar industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:Administer and oversee the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.Process and manage employee salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws.Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries related to payroll.
Compliance and Regulatory Management:Monitor and ensure compliance with local and state labor laws and regulations.Manage and maintain accurate records related to employee contracts, working hours, and other HR-related documentation.Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions to address compliance issues.
Attendance Management:Oversee and manage attendance tracking systems to ensure accurate recording of employee attendance and absences.Coordinate with the HR team to address attendance-related issues and ensure that attendance data is accurately reflected in payroll.
Qualifications:Full time Bachelor’s/master’s degree in human resources, or a related field.5-8 years
of experience in payroll management, compliance, and attendance management, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.Strong knowledge of payroll software, attendance management systems, tax regulations, and labor laws.Proven ability to manage complex payroll and attendance systems and ensure compliance with various regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
