Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial information to management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software.


Key Responsibilities:

● Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

● General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

● Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.

● Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

● Auditing: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.

● Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations; prepare tax returns.

● Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow and financial transactions.

● Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

● Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvements.

● Financial Advice: Provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making processes.

● Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software for data entry, reporting, and analysis.

● Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.


Qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. certification is preferred.

● Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting.

● Skills:

○ Proficiency in accounting software (e.gTally).

○ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

○ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

○ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

● Attributes: High level of integrity and confidentiality, proactive and adaptable, strong work ethic.


Working Conditions:

● Environment: Office-based role

● Hours: Standard business hours- 9:30 to 6:30PM

● Working Days: 5 Days
