Job Summary:

The HR Talent Leader is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to develop and retain top talent within the organization. Their responsibilities encompass overseeing talent management and employee development initiatives and shaping a culture of continuous improvement. The HR Talent Leader collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify workforce needs, design talent strategies, and implement programs to ensure the organization has a skilled and motivated workforce. They also play a key role in succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational development. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills are essential in this role to effectively drive talent management strategies and support the organization's long-term success. This role will report to the CHRO. 

Responsibilities:  

Provides HR leadership in the region by aligning the strategic direction for HR initiatives with organizational goals and ensuring the seamless execution of HR strategies.

Ensures that HR practices are agile and adaptable to changing business environments in support of organizational transformation initiatives. 

Serves as the expert on HR policies and practices in the country/region that they are supporting and keeps informed of both local HR laws and regulations as well as trending practices. 

Team span, manages a team size of 5-15 fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. 

Oversees the development and execution of a local talent management strategy which includes talent acquisition, development, and retention programs that foster innovation and excellence. Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure alignment with global talent strategies. 

Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders both regionally and globally and provides guidance to the leadership team on HR-related matters. 

Brings change management expertise to lead and support organizational change efforts, driving acceptance and commitment to change among employees.

Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) teams to develop and implement global HR policies, programs, and practices consistently across regions.

Works closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners to oversee comprehensive succession planning efforts, identifying and developing future leaders, and creating leadership development programs to nurture high-potential talent. 

Uses a ‘global’ approach to design and develop comprehensive employee engagement initiatives that align with global company values and approach and are locally relevant to enhance morale, job satisfaction, and overall organizational commitment. 

Leverages HR analytics to provide data-driven insights to drive HR strategies focusing on continuous improvement. 

Ensures compliance with HR laws, regulations, and best practices across all regions of operation, working closely with local HR teams to address regional compliance requirements. 

Leads the development and execution of performance management programs, including performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms that drive employee and organizational success. 

Collaborates with business units to develop strategic workforce plans that align with business goals and anticipate future talent needs. 

Mentors and coaches HR team members, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and development. Identifies and nurtures HR leadership talent within the organization. 

Engaged and well respected professional across the broader HR network.

Required skills:   

Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures. 

Strong experience in global stakeholder management at all levels.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 

Proficiency in data handling and strong analytical skills. 

Extensive change management experience. 

Experience in leading teams. 

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 

Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR software. 

Education and Experience:   

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field from a reputed college. 

12+ years of relevant experience.
