The type of transactions we currently work on range from multifamily apartment complexes to large office towers in the United States and European markets and range in value sizes from $10 million USD - $200 million+ USD.
Job Responsibilities:
● Interpret lease language to set up new commercial tenants in Yardi Voyager, ensuring accurate lease and billing information at all times.
● Set up commercial properties and tenant leases in Yardi Voyager for new property acquisitions or onboarding new third-party property management assignments.
● Create and/or review lease abstracts for accuracy.
● Ensure all lease-related documents are uploaded to Yardi.
● Review rent and expense recovery billings for lease compliance, performing lease audits regularly.
● Compute and determine lease rent increases based on CPI clauses. Maintain and track critical lease dates.
● Assist property managers with tenant billing questions.
● Prepare annual CAM and real estate tax reconciliations and coordinate adjustment billings.
● Assist with collections, including working with tenants, property management, and legal.
● Resolve billing issues with tenants and track settlement agreements and lease amendments.
● Update and monitor rent rolls including square footage, rents, renewal options, and notice dates.
● Communicate with tenants on a variety of lease-related matters.
● Assist with other related accounting department duties as needed.
You must have:
● Comfortable working EST Time Zones
● A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience is required.
● Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and written)
● Yardi: Expertise on all lease Admin-related functions in Yardi (capable of troubleshooting)
● LeaseAdmin Functional Expertise (Expertise in Lease Abstracts, creating Leases in Yardi, Amending Leases, CAM Reconciliation, Tenant Correspondence)
● Legal and Regulatory Framework: (Expertise on components of Lease Agreement (to facilitate drafting), Subsidy applicable, IFRS 16 or ASC 842)
