Key Responsibilities

  • Visit patients' homes for collection of blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples.
  • Verify patient details, obtain consent, and ensure accurate labeling of all specimens.
  • Follow standard protocols for sample collection, storage, and handling.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, infection control, and biosafety practices.
  • Transport samples securely to the designated laboratory within required timelines.
  • Maintain patient comfort and provide courteous service during collection.
  • Keep proper records of collections, payments (if applicable), and logistics.
  • Coordinate with the lab team and customer support for smooth operations.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with patient information.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques.
  • Good communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Attention to detail in labeling and documentation.
  • Ability to travel and manage multiple home visits daily.
  • Knowledge of biosafety and infection control protocols.
  • Familiarity with GPS/route planning is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or Phlebotomy certification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sample collection, preferably in a diagnostic center/hospital.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving license with own vehicle preferred.
  • Must carry a valid registration certificate (if applicable as per state medical council norms).
  • Willingness to work in flexible shifts, weekends, and emergency requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
