The ideal candidate will lead Android development initiatives, drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure delivery of high-quality mobile applications. This role requires a balance of hands-on development and leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Android applications.- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative features.- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.- Drive architectural decisions and recommend modern frameworks and tools.- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality metrics.- Ensure smooth integration with backend APIs and cloud services.- Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, libraries, and frameworks.- Act as a key point of contact for technical discussions with stakeholders.Mandatory Skills- Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java.- Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM/MVP/MVC architecture.- Hands-on experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL), data storage (Room, SQLite), and offline capabilities.- Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks.- Strong knowledge of Play Store publishing, app lifecycle management, and performance optimization.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Good to Have- Experience with Flutter / React Native for cross-platform apps.- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile app security best practices.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and stakeholder management.
