Role & responsibilities

  • Supervising and Coordinating:Overseeing daily site activities, managing and allocating resources, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Safety Management:Enforcing safety regulations, conducting site inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Quality Control:Monitoring work quality, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and resolving any issues or deviations.
  • Project Management Support:Assisting project managers with planning, scheduling, and progress reporting, including identifying potential delays or obstacles.
  • Resource Management:Managing materials, equipment, and labor to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Communication and Reporting:Maintaining accurate records of site activities, preparing reports, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience as a site supervisor in a construction environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Basic first aid knowledge is often required.
  • A degree or diploma in construction management or a related field is often preferred.
