Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.

- Collaborate with QA testers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

- Select and implement appropriate testing tools and frameworks based on project needs.

- Implement best practices for test automation, including modularity, reusability, and maintainability.

- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report defects effectively.

- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to ensure smooth test execution.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall code quality of test automation scripts.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in automation tools, testing methodologies, and scripting languages.

- Document test automation processes, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications :

- 5-6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

- Proven experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Understanding of web development concepts (HTTP, HTML, CSS) is a plus.

- Experience with API testing methodologies and tools (a plus).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing (a plus).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
