About Role
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating regression test suites and conducting API testing for a B2B SaaS platform. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.
Responsibilities:
1.  Automating Regression Test Suite: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of our B2B SaaS platform across different releases and updates.
2.  API Testing: Design, implement, and execute automated API tests to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of backend services and integrations within our platform.
3.  Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, strategies, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
4. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate early detection of defects and ensure the smooth deployment of software updates.
5.  Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues on time.
6.  PerformanceTesting: Contribute to performance testing efforts by designing and executing performance tests, analyzing test results, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
7.  Documentation: Document test cases, test scenarios, and testing procedures to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date testing documentation.
8.  Quality Assurance Standards: Adhere to quality assurance best practices, standards, and processes to maintain the highest level of software quality and reliability.
Requirements:
1.   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2.   Proven experience (2 years) as an Automation QA Test Engineer, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
3.   Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
4.   Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
5.   Extensive experience in automating regression test suites and conducting API testing.
6.   Solid understanding of software development methodologies, QA processes, and Agile/Scrum principles.
7.   Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
8.   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
9.   Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.   Experience with testing B2B SaaS platforms in an Agile development environment.
2.   Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS
3.   Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
4.   Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is a plus
