Our Client is the world’s largest pure-play quality engineering specialist helping our customers ensure their products and systems are robust, secure and performance optimised. It has offices in Israel, US, UK, India and Romania with revenues of approximately $200m and 3,000 employees. The company offers quality engineering to large global enterprises in the technology, telecom, healthcare, finance, defence, media, utilities and retail industries. It's largest customers include Google, Intel, BT/EE and Phillips. It designs and delivers customised solutions to meet customers’ business requirements, using unique IP and methodologies that leverage deep industry-specific understanding with technology specific competencies.
It is private equity owned and recently acquired by Bridgepoint. The company expects to continue to experience strong organic (driven by 13%+ market growth) and substantial inorganic growth using a high volume of strategic and bolt on acquisitions in existing and new regions as a significant value driver. Target is revenues of $1bn within five years.
The Role:
Finance Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- IC X-charge and Branch Accounting.
- Payroll – Monthly Journal booking, Reconciling the Deductions against payments.
- Reconciliations – Bank + IC Recons + Accruals + Prepayments + Fixed Assets
- Billing based on T&M or Fixed rate contracts.
- Month end close – booking manual journal vouchers, Adjustment journals, Revenue & Cost Accruals, Cost Allocations. Ledger close.
- Profit & Loss variance analysis / Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Monthly Revenue / COGS / EBITDA review and analysis
Skills Required:
- Good working knowledge of Statutory submissions, Audit, Compliance, Indirect Taxes like GST, Direct Taxes – TDS & Corporate tax.
- Team Management – Experience of 4-6 years in Team Management, Goal Setting, Performance assessment.
- Prior experience of working in a SEZ unit would be an added advantage
Qualification & Experience:
- 10-12 years’ Experience in General Accounting & Reporting of India based Entity
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant / B.Com/MBA/M.Com
- Knowledge of any ERP system like Net Suite, Quick books, SAP, Oracle. Working Experience in Net Suite will be preferred.
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge of MS Office products – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Based in Bangalore. Work from office
