Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generation Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), and advanced Python programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and enhance our products and services.

This role requires a very high component of Machine Learning, NLP, Generative AI, Deep Learning, Python & being hands on with things. This is an IC role working directly with the CTO (based out of US)

Key Responsibilities:

Algorithm Development:

- Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to address business challenges, with a focus on NLP and GenAI applications.

- Explore and experiment with advanced techniques in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and other areas of machine learning.

Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering:

- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract relevant features for model training.

- Implement NLP techniques such as tokenisation, stemming, lemmatization, and entity recognition to process textual data effectively.

Model Training and Evaluation:

- Train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models using appropriate evaluation metrics and cross-validation techniques.

- Conduct thorough performance analysis and optimization to ensure the scalability and efficiency of deployed models.

NLP and GenAI Applications:

- Develop innovative solutions for natural language understanding, sentiment analysis, text generation, and other NLP tasks.

- Leverage Generation AI techniques to create intelligent and autonomous systems that generate human-like content.

Software Development:

- Implement scalable and maintainable Python code for machine learning pipelines, APIs, and deployment frameworks.

- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning components into production systems and services.

Research and Innovation:

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and GenAI research.

- Contribute to research projects, publish findings in academic journals, and participate in conferences and workshops.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

- Proven experience (8 years) as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with a focus on NLP and GenAI applications.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Solid understanding of NLP techniques and frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).

- Experience with deep learning architectures (e.g., RNNs, CNNs, Transformers) and pre-trained language models (e.g., BERT, GPT).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Contributions to open-source projects, research publications, or patents in the field of machine learning or NLP.
