Our core services are Bureau of Indian Standards certification (Scheme-I ISI mark, Scheme-II CRS registration- Compulsory Registration Scheme, FMCS- Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme), BEE ratings, WPC/ETA approvals, EPR approvals, FSSAI, iCAT, ARAI, etc.
Role Description
We are looking for a skilled BIS Consultant to guide our clients through the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and WPC Certification as well. The consultant will play a key role in helping clients, particularly manufacturers and importers of electronic products, to ensure compliance with BIS CRS and WPC standards. The candidate will provide expert assistance in registration, documentation, product testing, and certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive guidance on BIS Registration (CRS) and WPC Certification requirements for electronic products including Equipment Type Approval (ETA) and Import Licenses.
- Assist clients in identifying the applicable BIS standards and categories for their products.
- Facilitate the preparation and submission of the CRS & WPC ETA application and required documentation.
- Coordinate with BIS-recognized laboratories as well as WPC-authorized labs for product testing and obtain the necessary test reports for registration.
- Ensure products meet technical standards for performance and safety as required by BIS & WPC regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and BIS & WPC officials to expedite the certification process.
- Track and monitor the status of applications, ensuring timely follow-up and approval.
- Advise clients on testing and post-certification compliance.
- Provide ongoing support to clients in maintaining compliance, managing renewals, and addressing any regulatory concerns.
- Stay updated with changes in BIS & WPC regulations, especially for products under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of BIS standards under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
- Familiarity with WPC ETA for wireless product categories such as mobile devices, RFID, IoT solutions, satellite communications, and other RF devices.
- Knowledge of BIS portal and WPC Portal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
