Job Summary:We are seeking a technically strong and delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to lead software development projects in the banking and finance domain. This role requires hands-on coding experience and code review capabilities, combined with strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the .Net ecosystem, microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka), and cloud technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and secure project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:Actively participate in solution design, perform code reviews, and guide development teams to maintain clean, secure, and scalable code.
  • Project Ownership:Lead end-to-end project planning and execution including scope definition, scheduling, resource management, and delivery tracking.
  • Team Management:Coordinate with developers, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to ensure alignment on sprint goals and delivery targets.
  • Agile Delivery:Facilitate sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and Agile reporting through tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging business goals and technical execution.
  • Quality Assurance:Ensure quality through robust testing, code quality metrics, and defect triage in coordination with QA leads.
  • Risk & Compliance:Manage risks and ensure that project deliverables meet compliance, data security, and performance standards, especially in BFSI environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:Minimum 10 years in software development, including hands-on coding, with 3+ years in a technical project management role.
  • Education:Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong coding experience in .Net Core, C#, Microservices, and related technologies.
  • Experience in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and working knowledge of Docker and RESTful services.
  • Mandatory experience with code reviews, pull request management, and enforcing coding standards (e.g., SOLID, DRY, Clean Code).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Project Tools:Proficiency in JIRA, Git, Confluence, and project planning tools like MS Project or ClickUp.
  • Methodologies:Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience delivering projects in banking, NBFC, or fintech, with a clear understanding of compliance and data security.
  • Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Hybrid Deployments, API Management
  • Governance & Compliance: VAPT, Accessibility, SDLC Governance, ITSM Integration
  • Soft Skills:Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and interface with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Microsoft/Azure certifications.
  • Experience with frontend technologies is a plus).
  • Exposure to performance monitoring, cost estimation, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with SonarQube or similar tools for static code analysis and technical debt management.
