Position Summary:We are looking for an experienced Developer. The successful candidate will span multipleenvironments, teams, technologies, and stakeholders. Additionally, the ideal candidate willbe an integral part of both development and operations.Responsibilities:• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS databases, including proactiveidentification and resolution of issues to maintain high availability and performance.• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrityand minimizing downtime in case of failures.• Design, develop, and implement databases in AWS cloud environments, aligning with thebest scalability, security, and performance practices.• Perform data migrations from existing databases to AWS, ensuring seamless transitionsand data integrity.• Set up and maintain database replication for high availability and disaster recoverypurposes.• Establish and enforce database security measures, including access controls, encryption,and data privacy best practices.• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles following the organization'ssecurity policies and requirements.• Develop and execute database scripts to automate routine tasks and streamlineoperations.• Monitor and analyse database activity, identify trends, and optimize query performanceand resource utilization.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development, troubleshootdatabase-related issues, and provide technical guidance.• Stay updated with the latest AWS database technologies, tools, and best practices,continuously evaluating their potential impact on our database environment.

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in database administration, focusing on AWS databasetechnologies.• In-depth knowledge of AWS database services, such as Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora,Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon DMS.• Experience with database monitoring tools like Grafana etc
