Job Responsibility:Litigation: Handle Labour, Civil, Criminal, Consumer, MACT and other litigations. Interacting with advocates / counsels for preparing pleadings, replies, affidavits, etc. and also attend court cases as and when required.Preparing & Negotiating Agreements, Contracts etc. : Agreements and Contracts like: Business Transfer Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Technology Transfer Agreements, Tooling Agreements, Lease Agreements, Leave & License Agreements, MOUs etc.Compliances Monitoring: Monitoring compliances and keeping track of amendments in law.Handling Day to Day Legal Issues: Provide legal support to all departments including Administration, P&SQ, ERC, CEE, PE etc.; Advice plant HR & ER teams on labour issues, disciplinary proceedings etc.; Assist in audits / inspections; Draft replies to notices / letters received from statutory authorities including DISH; Attending Govt. offices for discussing various issues as and when required along with the Govt. Affairs team; Advice to Societies, Trusts etc.Projects : Work on specific projects, as assigned, from time to time.
