Job Title: Freight BrokerLocation: Mohalishift :US basedJob Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for facilitating the movement of freight between shippers and carriers, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries. The ideal candidate should have excellent negotiation skills, be highly organized, and have a deep understanding of the transportation industry.Responsibilities:Act as the intermediary between shippers and motor carriers to arrange transportation services.Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and clients.Track and manage shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.Build and maintain relationships with both clients and carriers to foster business growth.Utilize transportation management software to track shipments, process invoices, and ensure accurate documentation.Manage the entire life cycle of freight, from booking to delivery, ensuring smooth operations.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and logistics.Qualifications:Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software (TMS).Knowledge of industry regulations, including DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred).Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.Experience 1 - 5 Years No. of Openings 100 Education B.A, B.C.A, B.B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.E, B.Tech, Any Bachelor Degree, M.A, M.Com Role Freight Broker Industry Type Export - Import / Trading Gender ( Male / Female ) Job Country India Type of Job Full Time (Night Shift) Work Location Type Work from Office Face interview location Mohali phase 8b
