Global Payroll Accounting - Associate Process Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Global Payroll Accounting Process Manager to lead and oversee payroll accounting operations across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of payroll accounting processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in payroll operations.
This role requires not only technical payroll expertise but also proven experience in managing and guiding teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring seamless payroll accounting aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the global payroll accounting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Collaborate with and engage multiple stakeholders, guiding the payroll team to deliver results effectively and efficiently.
- Take full accountability for team performance, driving goal-oriented outcomes and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Promote and foster a collaborative team culture through open communication, active coaching, and regular team meetings.
- Oversee month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely payroll accounting.
- Conduct regular service delivery, planning sessions, and process reviews with team members to ensure quality, compliance, and process improvements.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 10+ years of proven, hands-on experience in global payroll accounting, with strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll accounting processes, including month-end close and reconciliations.
- At least 3+ years of experience in team leadership, people management, and process ownership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and implement solutions proactively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with ADP, Mercan, or other payroll accounting platforms, with working knowledge of Oracle GL and Blackline (preferred).
