Role Overview:
As a Business Development Intern at Tec Tigers, you will play a key role in driving outbound sales initiatives to acquire and nurture new clients for our IT services. This role involves identifying potential business opportunities, building relationships, and achieving sales targets through various outbound strategies such as cold calling, in-person meetings, Linked In prospecting, and email outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales & Lead Generation:
- Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to present Tec Tigers IT services and solutions.
- Qualify leads, schedule meetings, and create a pipeline of high-value opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to identify their IT needs.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, ensuring a positive brand image.
Linked In Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential clients using Linked In and other professional platforms.
- Send personalized connection requests, follow-ups, and messages to initiate conversations.
Email Prospecting:
- Draft and execute targeted email campaigns to reach potential clients.
- Follow up with prospects, analyze responses, and nurture leads effectively.
In-Person Meetings & Networking:
- Arrange and conduct in-person meetings to pitch Tec Tigers services and solutions.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
Sales Planning & Strategy:
- Develop and implement outbound sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and presentations.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and potential markets for IT services.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and address client needs effectively.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities in CRM tools.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, lead generation, and client feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 0-1 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, or a related role in the IT services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Technical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of IT services, solutions, and industry trends.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Linked In Sales Navigator, and email marketing tools is preferred.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
Sales Skills:
- Proficiency in cold calling, objection handling, and closing sales.
- Expertise in Linked In and email prospecting strategies.
Analytical & Organizational Skills:
- Ability to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, follow-ups, and meetings effectively.
